The short version
- We collect as little personal data as we can, and only to run and improve our apps and services.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- Payments in our iOS apps go through Apple. We never see your card details.

1. Who we are
This policy covers the website at widgetslab.ai and the apps and services published by Widgets Lab Artificial Intelligence Developing Services L.L.C – S.P.C ("Widgets Lab", "we", "us"), a company registered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (licence CN-6606338). We are responsible for the personal data described here.
Some of our products, such as Entaliq (entaliq.com) and Entaliq.me, have their own pages and may have their own privacy terms. Where they do, those terms apply to that product alongside this policy.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
- When you create an account (only in apps that have accounts): the details the app asks for, such as an email address or display name.
- Content you create in an app, if the app stores it on our servers rather than only on your device.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: device model, operating system version, app version, language and region, so we can make the app work on your device.
- Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data, so we can find and fix problems. Where possible this data is not linked to your identity.
- Usage data: which features are used and how often, in aggregate, so we can improve the product.
- Website data: our website is hosted on Google Firebase, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. It does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions on iOS are processed by Apple. Apple tells us that a purchase happened so we can unlock what you bought, but we never receive your payment card details. Apple's handling of your payment data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Each app's App Store listing includes a privacy label that summarises the data that app collects. If an app's label and this policy ever differ, the label describes that specific app.
3. How we use it
- To provide the app or service you asked for, and keep it working.
- To answer your messages and support requests.
- To fix bugs, prevent abuse and keep our products secure.
- To understand, in aggregate, how our products are used so we can improve them.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. We only send you marketing email if you have asked for it, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our products, under contracts that limit what they can do with it, for example:
- Cloud hosting and storage (such as Google Cloud and Firebase).
- Email (Google Workspace), for messages you send us.
- Crash reporting and analytics providers, where an app uses them.
- Apple, for App Store distribution and purchases.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or of Widgets Lab. If Widgets Lab is involved in a merger or acquisition, data may transfer to the new owner under the same protections.
5. Where it is stored
Our service providers may store and process data outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union. When data moves across borders, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Support emails are kept for up to two years. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request, except where the law requires us to keep certain records for longer.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and the EU/UK GDPR, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong;
- delete your data, or your account;
- stop or limit certain uses of your data, or object to them;
- move your data to another service, where that applies.
Email hello@widgetslab.ai from the address linked to your data and we will reply within 30 days. If an app has an account, you can also delete it from inside the app. You may complain to your local data protection authority, but we would appreciate the chance to fix the problem first.
8. Children
Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will tell you without undue delay if a breach affects your data in a way the law requires us to report.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
